Getting my first 'proper' bike in my 50s was a bit of a challenge, but with PEAK's advice and bike fitting service, I was presented with a bike that actually felt right. I started out with 'all the gear, no idea!' but I 'Ruled the Roads' at the Great Manchester Charity Bike Ride last Sunday, and got my first cycling medal! I can't thank the guys at PEAK Cyclesport enough for all their support over the last couple of years. It's great that they have time for the novices as well as the enthusiasts. I'll be down there having some toe clips fitted soon - not brave enough to clip in just yet! Carole D

Peak Cyclesport is a lovely bike shop with excellent friendly and very helpful staff. I'm coming back into the sport after 20 years out (still got the 2nd cat license in the drawer) purchasing a Focus Izalco Team SL3 to go with my old 753 - if you live a fair distance away like I do you will not be disappointed. Andy and Greg make a great team, very knowledgeable and do the right thing to ensure you're correctly kitted out - plus being cycling enthusiasts they make the buying experience a pleasure which for me is big thing at such an enjoyable time of our hobby/interest. The two mechanics know their stuff too and Lewis takes pride in building things up perfectly. Keep up the excellent work chaps. Bruce M

The whole thing [Focus Cayo Evo 4.0] is fantastic, brilliantly fast and comfortable, light and durable (no dings, bends, scrapes etc despite the roads of Cheshire apparently being made by moles). I commute on it every day and it's the most fun I've ever had as a ride to work.

I can not thank you enough for all the help you gave me getting the bike sorted and set up for me.

I was very impressed with the fitting service which was comprehensive carried out by a very competent staff member. all the staff seemed very knowledgable and polite. The bike itself has exceeded my expectations. I wanted a lightweight bike with low gearing for hills, a comfortable ride, and good stopping power. This bike has ticked all the boxes and more. It is very responsive, extremely comfortable, and seems to fly up hills. The only thing limiting the stopping power of the brakes are the tyres. This has been the steepest learning curve for me but once I got used to them I would not use anything else, especially for riding throu town in the rush hour. The grips on the handle bar deserve special mention, they widen towards the end and give excellent support to the wrist over rough road. The bike itself looks very cool. Overall I could not be more pleased with the bike and the buying experience. Thanks Paul W

What can I say? From start to finish everybody involved with this company was professional and extremely professional. I got my bike via a cycle to work scheme and could not recommend Peak Cyclesport in Macclesfield enough. From initial enquiries about the scheme to getting fitted for the bike they were exceptional. They all knew what they were doing and made sure the bike I got was just what was needed. There was a slight hiccup with the cycle to work scheme but this was soon sorted by the guys instore and everyone was happy. I bumped into one of the staff a few days later and he remembered my name and what bike I got - this goes a long way as a customer. I will struggle to get across in a short review just how superb they are. I have told friends and family to give them a go and am more than happy to give their brilliant services a thumbs up.
