Izalco Max Overview 2016

Izalco Max Ultegra

£3k superbike, same frameset as the range-topping Izalco Max Zero but with the excellent Ultegra 6800 groupset to keep the price down. Same price as 2015 but with now with an Ultegra chainset, compared to last year's less-popular FSA. Surprising comfort from what is marketed as a race bike, the Max is one of our favourite pro-level bikes.

Izalco Max Disc Dura Disc

Huge spec for the money, when we saw the price we thought it must surely be a mistake. High tech Izalco Max disc frame, one of the lightest on the market + Dura Ace 9000 + discs + DT Swiss factory wheelset, a real winning combination.

Izalco Max Dura Ace

Perfect balance of performance and comfort from the 750g frame and 300g fork. Top Dura Ace 9000 groupset (but for the superlight FSA carbon chainset) and a DT Swiss Dicut 20 wheelset. 6.5kgs.

Izalco Max Disc Red

One of the lightest disc-braked road bikes, a superlight frame and a full SRAM Red 22 groupset, complemented by stunning DT Swiss Carbon 38 wheels.

Izalco Max Dura Ace Di2

Stunning new graphics, stunning new (lower) price, new Focus carbon flex seatpost too. And a none-too-shabby DT Swiss mid section carbon wheelset. Di2 at its finest.

Izalco Max Team AG2R

Team issue bike, the real deal, team colours, team frame, team wheels and team groupset. Fizik finishing kit. As exactly used by AG2R La Mondiale.

Izalco Max Zero

The finest money can buy, Focus has spec'd top components for its 4.95kgs build - without any compromise in useability and durability.

We've also limited availability in Izalco Max '14 and '15, different specs and colours, but exactly the same frameset as '16 bikes, Izalco Max 3.0 SRAM Red22 / Fulcrum Racing Zero 54cm @ £3799, Izalco Max 2.0 full Dura Ace / Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLE 56cm @ £4499.

Demo Programme

The Izalco Max offers an amazing combination of ride quality and a surprising degree of comfort, why not book in for a demo? Same format as our Bianchi Infinito CV programme, in which we do a mini bike fit and take you out fully supported for an hour over a variety of road surfaces and gradients.

The all-new Izalco Max Disc platform was tested back in June '15 by ahead of its 2016 launch where its combination of lightweight performance and 'total speed control' meant that it shone in initial testing.
